PINK GINGHAM

HAT, DRESS, CARDIGAN: Hot Couture

EARRINGS: Aubergine Vintage Emporium

I'm so excited to be showing off this amazing 1950's vintage dress today! Along with collecting pastel cardigans, I also am piecing together a rainbow of gingham clothing. This pink number looks exactly like a dress that The Pretty Dress sells online. I was so excited to buy a true vintage version of it at a fraction of the price!

I paired it with my fantastic Pink Ion shoes from BAIT Footwear, of course, and I looked like a pink cloud! It gave me a perfect hourglass figure without having to cinch up with a belt, though a little white belt would look fantastic with it. It's super soft, made of 100% cotton, and has amazing fullness in the skirt that would be perfect for swing dancing.

I'm absolutely obsessed with my new 40's hat too. It fits snugly on my head without the need for a neck strap or hair pins, and it has an adorable bow on it! I love straw hats, I have so many of them now!

I'm so ready for my hair to be a couple inches longer so I can curl it and have cute hairstyles with my hats. My hair is so straight that it just stands on end, especially around my cowlicks -- and I have quite a few cowlicks. I want more direction and swoopiness to my hair, but for now I guess I'll be Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I had a full day of errand-running and shopping today on my day off. I feel very prepared to sink into my bed and watch TV with my love, my cat, and my Poop Pillow for the rest of the evening.
