FIRST DAY OF SUMMER

After one of the hardest work weekends of training new employees and working double shifts, it's finally Monday -- my day off! My love and I decided to have a picnic on the beach, on the first official day of summer. Everything just seemed to fall in place so nicely with summer also landing on Mermaid Monday! I broke out the bellbottomed mermaid pants and my new bathing suit I got at a crazy online Unique Vintage sale to soak up some sun.

It was crazy windy in Bodega today -- the waves were giant and the wind was freezing! We traveled into the sand dunes to find a protected place and found a little niche with a view.

I found this adorable vintage styled picnic basket at Goodwill last month for 6 bucks! It even came with the blue gingham picnic blanket and matching napkins! What a steal.

My new Kiki sandals proved to be perfect for the beach too. (Side note: did you see Bait Foot Wear posted one of my photos of me wearing my Kiki's on their instagram page? How cool is that?!)

Lastly, my beautiful beach blonde lace front wig is from Osaro Jewels on Etsy. Can you tell I'm obsessed with Etsy yet?
